Park Admission Guidelines

Farm Guidelines

  • The farm does not charge an entrance fee and you are welcome to visit. During holidays when there are many people, please cooperate with traffic control personnel to arrange parking.
  • Bringing outside food, camping, picnicking, and other outdoor activities are prohibited on the farm. If you need to eat, there are Chinese and Western restaurants and a coffee shop available.
  • Dogs, cats, and other mammals are prohibited on the farm (except for guide dogs, who must wear protective clothing). The farm reserves the right to refuse entry to those who violate this rule.
  • Every plant and tree on the farm is a precious treasure carefully cared for by the farm owner. Please take good care of it and refrain from taking photos. Any acts of damage are strictly prohibited.
  • The blueberry experience area is open seasonally (in conjunction with farm activities) and is not open to the public at other times.
  • The beautiful sea of clouds is a natural phenomenon resulting from weather changes. Its occurrence is influenced by the seasons and weather conditions and cannot be predicted by humans.
  • The farm is located at an altitude of 1923 meters, and its power supply is not as stable as that at low altitudes, which falls under the responsibility of Taiwan Power Company. In special circumstances, the farm will turn on the generator, but it will not generate electricity all day long. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Gambling, excessive drinking, drug use, or any illegal activities are strictly prohibited throughout the entire park (including guest rooms). Those who refuse to heed warnings and whose actions are deemed serious will be reported to the police and their accommodation contracts will be terminated.
  • The farm is private land and does not provide car rentals or bathroom facilities for non-guests.

Farm facilities

  • The second and third floors of the reception building are guest rooms. To avoid affecting guests, the lobby lounge area on the first floor is only open until 9:00 PM.
  • Water dispensers are available at the farm restaurant, coffee shop, and to the right of the welcoming building. You can bring your own water bottle to fill it, which is both environmentally friendly and good for the earth.
  • If you bring your own drinks when dining at the Hakka Chinese Restaurant or Yunhai Western Restaurant, the restaurant will charge a corkage fee of NT$500.
  • The Hakka Chinese restaurant is available for rent from 20:30 to 23:00 (please do not use sound equipment). Please make a reservation with the restaurant before 19:00 and pay a deposit of NT$500 (to be returned the next day after cleaning).
  • The Wild Horse Mountain Forest Trail is located in a primeval forest and has no wooden boardwalks (the tree trunks are numbered 1-40). The trail consists of tree roots, rocks, and soil, and some sections are difficult to walk on. Please assess your own physical condition before entering.
  • It is not recommended to enter during rainy, foggy, or after 3:30 PM.

Mountain Condition Reminder

  • Fog is common in mountainous areas, so please keep your headlights on at all times when driving uphill and drive slowly and carefully to ensure your safety.
  • There are no gas stations after entering the mountain area. Please fill up your tank at Xiagongguan (CPC) in Zhudong or Wufeng (Formosa Plastics) at kilometer 36.5 of County Road 122 before heading up the mountain.
  • Temperatures in mountainous areas can vary greatly, so please bring enough warm clothing to avoid catching a cold.
  • The farm is located at an altitude of 1,923 meters. If you have any special medical conditions, such as altitude sickness, cardiovascular disease, or other conditions that require medication, please assess your own condition and bring your own medication with you (according to health laws, accommodation establishments are not allowed to provide medication).
  • The Dalu Forest Road restricts the passage of Class A buses; only Class B buses and passenger cars are allowed to enter!
  • County Road 122 is a two-lane road. At the 50-kilometer mark, there is a rest stop for Lulin Homestay. The road continuing through Dalulin is partly a single-lane road, so please be careful when passing other vehicles.
  • If you see an "Alternative Road" sign while driving, it is for use when the main road is impassable. Please avoid entering it (the road is narrow and steep).
